The Gorge is a phenomenal venue for a show and I try to hit one at least every couple years. This stuff happens all the time and the staff are on it, no questions, no charge, they calmly deal with these little crisis apparently every week. There were stories of lost purses, broken down cars, I was there when a woman asked for help as she locked her keys in her car.

In a last ditch effort, and because the car was already loaded with camping gear, I decided to google campsites near the Gorge and landed on WIldhorse. So at the last minute we were scrambling to find motels nearby- the closest with available rooms was Wanatchee (sp?) a 50 minute drive from the Gorge. There is no email confirmation from Ticketmaster when purchasing the camping ticket and without the paper ticket you are out of luck. We found this campground at the last minute when I was unable to find my $160 ticket for the Terrace campsite at the Gorge itself. The Park at Cave B is an amazing place that adds to your concert experience. Wildhorse is a campsite that basically caters to people attending concerts at the Gorge Amphitheater.
